Dr. Schneider is a Texas native but a Coloradan at heart. She and her husband Joey have enjoyed living in Evergreen since 2016.
Dr. Schneider received her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in the studies of Chemistry, Biology, and Psychology. She then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her doctorate. Dr. Schneider was recognized for her Clinical Excellence while in attendance.
After completing her doctorate, Dr. Schneider moved to West Texas to join a private practice. She eventually bought and owned the practice for nearly 10 years before deciding to sell to move to Colorado.
Dr. Schneider offers full scope eye care with a special emphasis on Low Vision Rehabilitation. She was the largest low vision provider in the West Texas area. She worked with The Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Veteran Affairs, and disability work programs.
Her Low Vision rehabilitation services help patients utilize remaining vision, with the end goal being to help those overcome their visual impairment, so that they can remain as independent and safe as possible, so the patient can enjoy a high quality of life.
Dr. Schneider is committed to providing exceptional and thorough eye health care through the use of state-of-the-art instrumentation and high quality products and services. Her patients are her priority, which is demonstrated by a strong commitment to professional and personalized care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schneider’s hobbies include photography, hiking, trail running, skiing, and virtually anything outdoors.
